Chemical composition: It is a mixture of amino acids, peptides, water-soluble vitamins and carbohydrates.
Appearance: It is generally dark brown paste or light yellow powder, with the unique flavor and smell of yeast. Powder products have strong hygroscopicity, usually paste products contain 20% to 30% water, and powder products contain 5% to 10% water.
pH value: The pH value of a 5% aqueous solution is generally 5.0 to 6.0.
Solubility: It is easily soluble in water, and the solution after dissolution is usually yellow to brown.
Stability: It is stable under normal conditions, but high temperature, humidity and strong acid and alkali environments should be avoided.
